Private Conservation Desert Safari
A calm private safari through a protected desert reserve, vintage 4x4, wildlife spotting and falconry, without the dune-bashing crowds.
Not every desert evening needs to be an adrenaline run. This private safari trades dune bashing for a slower, protected-reserve format: a vintage-style 4x4 moves at a walking pace across managed desert, giving space to spot Arabian oryx, gazelle and native birdlife undisturbed by convoys of trucks. A falconry demonstration is woven into the afternoon as a core part of the program, not an upsell, followed by a quiet dinner at a small camp set apart from the large group circuits. Where our premium sunset safari is built for thrill and photography, this route is built for stillness: fewer vehicles, a conservation-minded guide and a pace that lets the desert stay quiet. For travellers who want to see the reserve rather than race across it, this is the private, unhurried version.
- Vintage-style 4x4 at a gentle, conservation pace
- Protected desert reserve, not the open dune circuit
- Wildlife spotting: Arabian oryx, gazelle, native birdlife
- Falconry demonstration included in the program
- Quiet private camp dinner, away from group convoys
- No dune bashing, built for stillness, not adrenaline

Is this the same as your other desert safaris?
No. Our premium and classic safaris are built around dune driving and photography stops; this route is a calmer, protected-reserve format with wildlife spotting and falconry, without the dune-bashing drive.
Will we definitely see wildlife?
Sightings of oryx, gazelle and native birdlife are common inside the reserve but never guaranteed, since these are wild animals moving freely; your guide knows the areas where sightings are most likely at the time of your visit.
Is the pace suitable for families or older travellers?
Yes. There is no dune bashing, so the drive itself is gentle; this format suits families, older travellers or anyone who prefers a quieter, slower experience of the desert.
What time does it run?
It departs in the afternoon and runs into the evening, around six hours in total, timed so you catch the wildlife-spotting window, the falconry demonstration and dinner under the stars.
Does the safari come with a Russian- or Arabic-speaking guide, where does pickup happen, and how is it booked?
A driver fluent in Russian, English or Arabic is available on request for the full route, from the reserve drive through to camp dinner. Transfer starts with a pickup from your hotel lobby and continues by 4x4 into the reserve, included for groups of two to six departing at 15:00; to book, message us on WhatsApp or submit the enquiry form here and we will reply to confirm your date, no online payment involved.
Can we request extra time for wildlife spotting or a stargazing session under the reserve's dark skies?
Yes. On request, and subject to availability, we can extend the wildlife-spotting window or add a guided stargazing session, since the protected reserve has minimal light pollution. Mention it when you enquire and we will confirm what can be arranged for your date.
