Some photographs are published under open Creative Commons licences that require naming the author and the licence. Here is the full list.

We prefer to show the real place rather than a lookalike stock frame, so a few photographs come from Wikimedia Commons. Below is who took each shot, the licence it is used under and where the original lives. If your photograph needs a different attribution, or you would like it removed, write to us and we will fix it within a day.
