Dubai's biggest yachting event has a new place on the calendar. The 32nd Dubai International Boat Show opens at Dubai Harbour on 25 November 2026 and, for the first time, settles permanently into late November, the gentle edge of the cool season. For a private, high-end trip it is less a trade fair than a ready-made evening on the water.
A flagship show, now on the November calendar
The 32nd Dubai International Boat Show runs 25–29 November 2026 at Dubai Harbour. Organisers have moved the event from its earlier spring slot and confirmed November as its permanent annual home, so the show now opens Dubai's cool season rather than competing with the summer heat.
The timing also links the two emirates. The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show is set for 19–22 November, days before Dubai opens its gates, so late November becomes a single yachting window across the UAE. That is convenient if a private itinerary already splits time between the capital and Dubai.
Why it matters for a private trip
For a traveller arriving privately rather than in a group, the appeal is less the trade floor and more the water. More than 200 boats and watercraft are displayed afloat, and the Superyacht Avenue lets you walk alongside the largest vessels right at the berth. With over a thousand brands present, it is the regional window on new launches, tenders and water toys without flying to Monaco or Cannes.
The format suits an unhurried visit. Gates open in the afternoon and the show runs into the evening, when Dubai Harbour and its yachts are at their best for photography. On-site VIP and Privé lounges give a calmer base away from the crowds, and a private chauffeur removes the harbour's parking and transfer friction entirely.
How to build a private day around it
The natural plan is to see the show and then take to the water yourself. A private yacht charter or a marina speedboat turns the same Dubai Harbour backdrop into your own cruise past the Palm and the skyline, so the fair becomes the prelude to a day afloat rather than a standalone errand.
If your trip already includes Abu Dhabi, the overlapping dates make a two-emirate yachting plan easy: the capital's show early in the week, Dubai's at the weekend, with a private driver bridging the two. Going on a weekday afternoon, ahead of the Friday–Saturday peak, keeps the Superyacht Avenue quiet enough to enjoy.
Dubai's marquee yachting show now opens the cool season at Dubai Harbour from 25 to 29 November, and it is best enjoyed privately, in the evening light, and followed by your own charter on the same water.
