Private mountain day · Jebel Jais & Ras Al Khaimah
Jebel Jais Zipline Day
A private day to the UAE's highest peak, where the world's longest zipline, high viewing decks and a serpentine mountain road trade Dubai's skyline for the raw heights of the Hajar range.
Drive north from Dubai and the coast gives way to the Hajar Mountains, rising to Jebel Jais, the highest peak in the country. Here Ras Al Khaimah has strung the longest zipline in the world across a canyon, a Guinness record run of nearly three kilometres where you fly headfirst above the rock at highway speed. Over a full day, roughly ten hours, your private driver-guide handles the two-hour road each way, the winding climb to the summit and the timing of your flight, leaving you free to focus on the view. Between the harness and the drive there are high viewing decks, a mountain cafe near the top and the option of the Bear Grylls Camp, an easy, exhilarating escape into country most Dubai visitors never reach.
